To support students on their gender affirmation journeys, the student Health Plan includes coverage for gender-affirming medical care, up to $5,000 per claim (to a lifetime maximum of $10,000) for eligible procedures.

Note that in order to be eligible, the services must not already be covered by your provincial/territorial health plan, and a diagnosis of gender dysphoria from a physician (M.D.) or nurse practitioner must be provided.
