The Plan covers the cost of a visit to a chiropractor, naturopath, podiatrist/chiropodist, registered massage therapist, and speech therapist, up to a combined maximum of $325 per policy year.

An x-ray recommended by any of these practitioners is included in this overall maximum, up to $25 per policy year.

Please note that you need a referral from a medical doctor to be covered for visits to a massage therapist or speech therapist.

The Plan only covers consultation appointments for naturopaths and podiatrists/chiropodists.

Studentcare Massage Therapy Network
In addition to the massage therapy benefits included in your student Health Plan, Studentcare is working with massage therapists to provide Plan members with additional savings.

When visiting a Studentcare Network massage therapist, Health Plan members can take advantage of the following rates: $30 for a 30-minute treatment and $55 for a 60-minute treatment.

This means that if you combine your massage therapy benefits with the Studentcare Massage Therapy Network savings, you will pay nothing for a 30-minute treatment or for a 60-minute treatment, after reimbursement from the insurance company (until the yearly maximum is reached).

Studentcare Chiropractic Network
In addition to the chiropractic benefits included in your student Health Plan, Studentcare is also working with chiropractors to provide Plan members with additional savings.

As part of their commitment to students, Network chiropractors will charge Health Plan members no more than $45 for an initial assessment and $35 for subsequent visits.

This means that if you combine your chiropractic benefits with the Studentcare Chiropractic Network savings, you will pay nothing for an initial assessment and nothing for subsequent visits, after reimbursement from the insurance company (until the yearly maximum is reached).

The choice is yours
You are not limited to Studentcare Network members. You're covered for the insured portion of your Plan regardless of the health professional you choose. By visiting a Studentcare Network member, you will get additional coverage.
