Vision Coverage Your Plan covers the cost of an eye exam, new or replacement eyeglasses or contact lenses, and laser eye surgery. You can also get additional coverage through the Studentcare Vision Network. You must have Canadian provincial health-care coverage or equivalent coverage to make vision claims. The current policy year is from Sept. 1, 2024 – Aug. 31, 2025.
