Your life… your Health Plan

As a collective Plan established by students for students, your Plan offers comprehensive health coverage that often costs less than a parental or employee plan and includes coverage specifically designed for students.

We take into account your suggestions and requests about Plan improvements through feedback provided in our membership surveys or collected through the Studentcare website. Improvements are made where and when necessary, so that the coverage reflects your wants and needs.

Reducing your health costs and providing preventive care coverage

Provincial coverage covers basic health-care needs, such as visits to the doctor or hospital. It does not take into account the additional costs of services you may be charged for, such as eye exams, prescription drugs, visits to a chiropractor, or other health-care practitioners. Travel health coverage is often limited or not covered by your province of residence; however, your Plan covers these expenses as well, for 120 days per trip, and for as many trips as you take throughout the year. With so much covered under your Plan, you may even want to consider enrolling a spouse or a dependant.

If you’d like more information on your coverage, a Care Centre is set up to answer any questions that you may have about the Plan. Make the most out of all that your Plan has to offer here and abroad.
