OHIP+ is a public universal health-care program the government of Ontario is introducing for residents aged 24 years and under, covered by OHIP. More than 4,400 prescription drugs and health products are now covered at 100% by Ontario.
OHIP+ does not change your overall drug coverage. However:
- If you are covered by OHIP+, your claims are now reimbursed by the government of Ontario
- If you are not covered by OHIP+, your claims will continue to be reimbursed by your student Plan through your Pay-Direct Card
